Since becoming a member of UKIP Lawrence has stood in each and every election that he was eligible for – a tally of 17 or more occasions. In 2012 he was UKIP’s London Mayoral candidate.
In 2013 Lawrence became the first UKIP councillor elected in London, and he was re-elected in 2014 as councillor for the London Borough of Havering. With Lawrence’s hard work and orchestration, January 2016 saw Havering become the first council to vote to leave the EU. This was ahead of the referendum campaign, and indeed Havering went on to achieve the highest Leave result in London and one of the best in the country with 70% in favour of Leave.
Since the referendum Lawrence Webb has actively been looking to move to the South West, where both he and his wife have family and where they hope to start a new chapter in life.
Lawrence Webb has worked tirelessly to restore Britain’s independence from the EU over the last 20 years and will continue to do so.
