UKIP Gloucestershire Christmas Party with David Coburn MEP

Hot on the heels of the sell out success of the Brexit BBQ with Diane James MEP, UKIP Gloucestershire are pleased to announce — for the third year running — our Christmas Buffet and Party to be held on Friday 9 th December at 7 pm for 7.30 pm at the Old Bell, Southgate Street, Gloucester GL1 1TG. There is ample free parking in the evenings in the adjacent car park.

Located in a Jacobean building right in the very heart of Gloucester, close to both the Cross and Gloucester’s medieval Cathedral, the Old Bell enjoys an enviable reputation as one of the city’s finest restaurants. Check it out on

Not for us the usual Christmas fare of thinly sliced turkey, tinsel, cranberry sauce, cheap crackers and overcooked Brussels (!) sprouts — as in previous years we’ve specially arranged a gourmet buffet including:-

Slow cooked brisket in brioche buns
Rosemary new potatoes
Three mixed salads
Mini sausage rolls
Mini Yorkshire pudding and beef mini Angus burgers
Prawns tempura
Chicken skewers
Sushi and of course for our special guest “haggis”

And what’s more just so that you can get into the festive spirit we’ve also included a welcome glass of red, white or rose wine on arrival!

The highlight though will be our  Guest of Honour and Speaker, the charasmatic UKIP Scottish MEP David Coburn.

The only complaint that we had at the Brexit BBQ was from people who left it too late to book and couldn’t get a ticket. We know that demand is going to be high for the Christmas Party, and we have a lot less space to sell than we did for the BBQ. There’s no garden at the Old Bell for overspill, and it would be far too cold and dark to use it in December even if there was!

David Coburn is is UKP’s leader in Scotland and has always been a Libertarian and a proud Unionist and believes BREXIT throws more opportunities than obstacles towards the UK and he is looking forward to a much brighter future. Please come along and meet him among like minded company, ask him a question, get into the spirit of the Christmas Season and look forward to a Brexit New Year!

Tickets for this Christmas Dinner and Party to remember are just £15 per person — excellent value for money during the festive season for a night out, outstanding meal, welcoming glass of wine and mulled cider.
